Is this mulch made with leaves or compost? No. Unlike Gardner’s Choice, which contains compost and leaf mix, Champion Special is made from 100% bark only.

Is it safe for pets and edible plants? Yes, it’s all-natural and free from dyes or chemicals—safe around pets and ornamental plants. For vegetables, compost-based mulch may be better for nutrient enrichment.

How does it compare to dyed mulch? Champion Special offers a more natural, rustic look and breaks down to enrich the soil, unlike dyed mulches which decompose more slowly and don't feed the soil.

Does this mulch fade in color? Being undyed, it will naturally weather over time, taking on a lighter, sun-bleached tone.

Is this good for commercial landscaping? Absolutely. Its durability and natural appeal make it suitable for both residential and large-scale installations.
