The half cord is our most popular in-between size. You get 64 cubic feet of seasoned mixed hardwood, which is enough to keep a fireplace or wood stove going for weeks, without committing to a full cord. It is clean, split, and ready to burn the day you get it.
Mixed hardwood is a blend of dense local species that burn hot and hold a steady coal bed. Because the wood is seasoned, the moisture is already low, so it lights easily, throws good heat, and makes far less smoke than green wood.
