Shaw's 15-0-5 158VIP is Step 2 in the Shaw's 4-Step Lawn Program — and its role is critical: killing broadleaf weeds that are actively growing in your lawn while delivering a steady dose of controlled-release nutrition. Unlike pre-emergent products that prevent weeds before they emerge, the 158VIP formula works post-emergently — targeting dandelions, clover, henbit, chickweed, spurge, and a broad range of other broadleaf weeds that are already visible in the turf.
The triple-combination herbicide — 2,4-D, MCPP (Mecoprop), and Dicamba — is one of the most widely trusted post-emergent broadleaf weed control formulations in the lawn care industry. All three active ingredients work together to maximize control across a wide range of weed species.
